This was co-created by 10th graders who were discussing the Jewish holiday of Tisha A’av which commemorates many tragedies in Jewish history. We focused on learning about the concept of ayin tova (a good eye as a way for us to be compassionate to ourselves and each other. The center of the eye looks like a keyhole reminding us to have the perspective with each person of assuming the best and not judging others.
