MOSAICs
Camp Yavneh, NH, 2021

This was co-created by 10th graders who were discussing the Jewish holiday of Tisha A’av which commemorates many tragedies in Jewish history. We focused on learning about the concept of ayin tova (a good eye as a way for us to be compassionate to ourselves and each other. What does it mean to give others the benefit of the doubt and judge others favorably? The center of the eye looks like a keyhole reminding us to have the perspective with each person of assuming the best and not judging others.
